Looking back, 2005 was a big year with lots of attention for our prints.
While our focus now is creating the best quality and best feeling sheets it is easy to see why we still have a reputation as the Scandinavian brand for patterns and colors. The great thing is that many of the screen printed graphic patterns on duvets and shams still looks pretty good.

FLOW was our our take on flowers. A neutral color with an accent, and a large repeat creating a pretty bold impact. Screen-printed on cotton percale (more on that process in the next blog).

BIG, really big uneven stripes, 5 colors per color way. The picture for this Dwell 2005 clipping is actually rose not pools as it’s listed. Pool was blue color story (duh).

BIG was called “Broadband Percale” by Garnet Hill, who we collaborated with on a few things back in the day. Including this custom design for their catalogue, BLOOM. With a combination of loose lines in the shapes of abstract flowers and leaves, same technique but very different from the FLOW.

We can’t talk about early patterns without mentioning BLOCKS, so called “soft geometry" basic squares hand-designed different sizes with four colors printed in a large repeat. Still available on our website in sky.
