This season we are introducing two new colors of PERLA, our softest cotton sateen sheet series. PERLA is now available in seven colors, five of which are named after colors found in nature. The name of each color tells us its origin.
The name PERLA itself comes from pearl. It is actually a new generation of an old program we had, simply called PEARL. As the names reveal, JEWEL & PERLA are our finest fabric sheets.
The colors are subtler and mixed with a bit of grey. They nicely coexist with browns, beiges and other neutrals that you might find in nature.
PERLA plant is one of our new colors. The deep green tone comes from spirulina. It is a cool, refreshing tone that captures the energizing powers of the famous algae.

PERLA slate is our dark grey sheet, which takes its dusty tone from a sheet of slate.

PERLA powder is a “dirty" grownup pinkish color, similar to the tones found in mineral makeup, made from zinc and iron oxide.

PERLA porcelain is a warm light grey tone that comes from the soft bone color of porcelain.

And though the color of PERLA celeste doesn’t come directly from nature, the blue-green of the sheet reminds me of the celestial bodies in our night sky.

PERLA stone (discontinued) is our other new color. It is the calm mid-tone taupe of a river bed fossil.
