Cotton sale items include soft sateen, crisp percale and flannel bedding, as well as mid-weight blankets.
AREA first launched extra-fine cotton sateen PERLA collection in 2016. Anki has continued to add new colors to the popular line. PERLA stone is mid-tone neutral shade, similar to a beige or taupe, with a super soft feel.
PERLA stone goes with everything and still has its own character.

OVAL made its debut in Fall of 2017. Read about the making of OVAL in design process blog post "from sketch to product". This cotton sateen jacquard weave in greenish blues has a soft feel and subtle luster.
On a subtly striped gradient base, OVAL takes cues from the inventive geometrics of Josef Hoffmann, a founder of the early 20th century Wiener Werkstätte.

JULY white is coming back again. This limited edition classic percale weave restocks for the sale and only stays until we run out. Medium weight, breathable, fresh and clean tailored, this year JULY will also be available in king!

This year we say goodbye to lushly cozy flannel, EVERETT coal. Fall of 2015 saw AREA's first cotton flannel in quite a few years, it's durably made and equally good in a sophisticated city bedroom as a rugged island cabin.
EVERETT coal is a dark, soft warm flannel made of brushed cotton with charcoal heather yarns. Limited quantities remaining.

In linen, we have some beautiful plain weave bedding, yarn-dyed woven duvet covers and cases, as well as decorative pillows, throws and cases.
SIMONE midnight is 100% pure, soft linen in a plain weave that has been pre-washed. Midnight is woven with two different shades to bring more nuance and depth to the solid color.

INES linen duvet covers and pillow cases continues to be one of AREA's most in-demand designs. In 2017, Anki added a new version of this gradient stripe design: VIVIENNE. The 100% linen ombré pattern is a soft-toned, sateen-like, smooth-to-the-touch weave, and VIVIENNE powder colorway is going on sale.
VIVIENNE powder is a subtle succession of soft pink, ivory and natural.

CAMILLE dark grey is pure linen in an easy to mix dark grey. The mini-chevron weave creates a very soft, relaxed fabric.
CAMILLE uses dual-colored yarns that give depth and integrity to the color.

Last year, in a continuation of the EDITH line, Anki designed AREA's new heavy linen and named it ELIAS. This pure 100% linen is woven with two colors into a beautiful basket weave and comes in a wide variety of colors. Only throws and euro square covers will go on sale, ELIAS blankets and body pillows will continue to be available.
ELIAS has a pronounced diagonal pattern that becomes defined by washing.

We are adding some luxurious alpaca blankets to the sale this year to make room for new designs.
ELLIOT is a soft, lightweight 100% baby alpaca blanket. Sophisticated and beautiful shades crisscross for this finely wrought, enduringly soft update on the traditional over-under basket weave.
